When we got to the lake, I realized that we were not the only ones there for the sunset &#8211; there were a lot of people on the edge of the lake taking pictures. There was also a massive storm rolling in over the mountains with dark clouds, lighting and thunder. Originally built at the turn of the 20th century, the chateau was initially built to cater to the Canadian Pacific Railway. With a long and interesting history, it is a luxury hotel today. The property itself is beautiful, and almost like a maze to wander around.
